Mountmellick is steeped in history and this week is Heritage Week so keep an eye out around town for events. One event is on FRIDAY 25TH at 7.30 p.m. starting in THE SQUARE – travelling to the Presbyterian Church, Quaker Meeting House, Church of Ireland, Methodist Church and Roman Catholic Church. In each place there will be a little talk on the history of the building and the faith of the people who gather there. Everyone is most welcome.
